A333 Seamless & Welded Steel Pipe

A333 Seamless & Welded Steel Pipe Product Overview

‌ASTM A333 Steel Pipes‌ are ‌notch-tough, alloy-enhanced tubing‌ engineered for cryogenic systems, LNG terminals, and arctic oil pipelines operating down to ‌-196°C (-321°F)‌. Available in ‌9 grades (1, 3, 4, 6–11)‌ with Charpy V-notch impact values up to ‌40 J @ -100°C‌, these pipes prevent brittle fracture in subzero environments. Grade 6 (3.5% Ni) and Grade 11 (36% Ni) dominate LNG storage, while Grade 8 (9% Ni) handles ethylene processing at ‌-150°C‌. Compliant with ‌ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code‌, they replace costly stainless steels in -50°C to -200°C critical systems.
